Barbara Perez Marquez

Barbara Perez Marquez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, now she lives in the USA. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and writes comics and prose. Her past work includes: the acclaimed Bestselling Eisner-nominated graphic novel series The Cardboard Kingdom, the Girls Survive graphic novel Paulina and the Disaster at Pompeii, and her chapbook Por La Sombrita, as well as a number of contributions to several anthologies and collections.
