Collection: SE Smyth
S.E. Smyth is a sapphic author of novels, short fiction, and personal essays. She writes multi-faceted queer characters often with mental health issues, however they fit into a plot. S.E. writes the stories that are hard to tell. The accounts are never exactly how they happened, and she firmly believes it is reparative to reimagine.
S.E. has published five novels: Hope for Spring (2023), Criminal by Proxy (2022), In the Woods (2024), The NeverSleep (2025), and, OUT NOW, Candid About Space (2025). Recent short work can be found in Scarlet (Jaded Ibis Press 2023), Stone of Madness Press (2024), and the Lammy-winning anthology Swagger: A Celebration of the Butch Experience (2024).
