S.J. Lee is an award-winning author of speculative fiction. Her career has taken her all over the world, including assignments in Iraq, Mexico, Chile, India, Brazil, and Guyana. She has a masters in security and intelligence and two bachelors in different business fields. Of Friction is her debut novel and the first book of the Altered Earth series. It has won the 2024 Reader's Favorite Bronze Medal and was a finalist for the following awards: 2024 National Indie Excellence Award, 2024 Independent Press Award, 2024 Kindle Book Award, Royal Dragonfly Book Award, and more. Of Abrasion, Book 2, recently released March 25, 2025.
