Collection: Sierra Barnes

Sierra Barnes (she/they) is a history buff and cartoonist based in the DMV whose work revolves around the intersection of history, mythology, and memory. Her currently-running webcomic HANS VOGEL IS DEAD was launched in 2015 and the first volume was collected by Dark Horse Comics in 2023, with the second volume coming July 2026. She has worked with publishers such as Mad Cave Comics, Very Big Comics, Dark Horse, and Limit Break Comics, as well as self-published work and zines. They are a resident artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA. When she's not working on comics, you can usually find her at a museum or grabbing boba (or both).
